If you are a sports enthusiast, fan, or supporter you would want to know the new rules and regulations implemented for the coming World Cup 2022 happening in Qatar.
As a sporty person myself and creator of “Sports anyone?” app, I know this is a very important topic for fans and so I found two articles that tell you what will be the measures taken in 2022 Qatar.
If you read this Reuters article : Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani told newspapers that while most countries were expected to have vaccinated their citizens by then, Qatar was still taking measures to ensure a successful event. This article written by journalist Alexander Cornwell and Edited by Robert Birsel talks about the high measures to be implemented to attend the world cup 2022 safely. Qatar will only allow people fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend next year's World Cup.
The second article by Euronews written by AP focuses on how Qatar plans to get all the spectators vaccinated by 2022. “We are currently negotiating with a company to provide one million vaccine doses against the coronavirus for the immunization of those coming to the FIFA World Cup Qatar,” Sheikh Khalid said.
Drawing on these two articles and being a spectator myself wanting to attend Qatar2022 matches I have listed three actions that I would recommend you follow:
- Get Vaccinated early: you need to be vaccinated with a certain amount of time passed to be qualified as an attendee.
- Protect yourself: even with all the measurements taken don’t forget your mask, face shield, gloves if necessary and sanitizers.
- Be aware of the vaccine time limit: stay updated with vaccines and doses.
To summarize taking the vaccine will ensure that the game is safe and smooth, and everyone will leave Qatar having held great memories. So take those vaccines! See you in Qatar2022.
